Thanks for downloading! We forgot to mention the name of the podcast, forgot to give a shoutout to all the people who left lovely and helpful comments for episode 0, and probably didn’t fix many problems, but it’s almost twice as long…which has to count for something, right?

I listened! To the entire thing!

    *pastes gold star on forehead*

There was some background noise (sounded kind of like talking) that distracted me during the reviews of the TV shows (I think it was that section, anyway). So, um, fix that, willya? Or, don’t do it again! Or, something.

I like listening to you two, but there definitely needs to be more trash talking between you. I demand name calling and fisticuffs! :)

    Thank you!

And yeah, that echo sound is the technical wrinkles I was referring to :) it was a mic issue, we should have it fixed next time.

And perhaps next time we’ll involve hulk hands. Would that be enough fisticuffs?

OMG You are so Internet Famous!!! You boys are gonna be BIG I tell ya’! All over the YouTubez!
    ;)
Seriously - this was great fun to listen to while I sat here knitting. I know you don’t care that I was knitting but I included that bit anyway. I laughed out loud several times (I hope it annoyed my upstairs neighbor!!) and think you guys did a great job. Technical issues aside it was really fun!

I didn’t read the comments to the first episode but I had a few things just from listening this one that I wanted to mention as possible ideas.

    1) I know you want to keep things “organic” but moments like “um. . . so . . . yeah” just sound so awkward. I dunno if you’re doing this - if you are maybe you need to do more - but writing down bullet points for your conversation will help. You don’t have to script yourselves but having some key points in case you start to run out of “spur of the moment” ideas will avoid any “Uuuuhhhh” moments.

    2) Are you timing each segment? Knowing how long you want to take talking on a topic helps avoid “Uhhhh” moments too. Of course you can always address this in editing if you talk too long or the end gets kind of blah . . . I just remember working at the radio station in college we always had timers on for topics to keep a bit of pressure on and keep us directed and if the topic was getting lame we had a reminder to move on.

    3) You should read articles!! I never seem to be in the geeky know on things . . . so mentioning tid-bits from geeky/tech/whatever news/blogs/what have you would help news challenged people like me know where to look that has good stuff. Obviously don’t read the WHOLE thing but you can use it as a jumping off point - something to ridicule - bow down in envy to their writing prowess - whatever!

    4) Needs more zombie action.

    5) Please do not let zombies eat your brains though.

I can’t wait for the next episode now!!

  4. There’s a little bit of an echo when you get loud, looks like you already see it.

Also, stop touching the mic. One of you keeps fiddling with the mic. :P
I have to agree that the first season of Buffy was iffy… But coming off Kindred: The Embraced as we were, it was freaking Shakespeare.

  5. More stuff, less talk!

Thanks for the comments all…we’ll do what we can next time to iron out all the kinks you’ve mentioned.
